Terms of Service

Last updated: September 22, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of team-forte.com and the estimates, inspections and home improvement services provided by GR Brothers LLC, operating as Team Forte. By using this website, submitting a form or requesting an inspection, you agree to these terms.

1. Who we are

Team Forte is a trade name of GR Brothers LLC, a Connecticut limited liability company located at 161 Main St, East Berlin, CT 06023. Throughout these terms, "we," "us," "our" and "Team Forte" refer to GR Brothers LLC. "You" refers to the person using this website or requesting our services.

2. Licensing and registration

GR Brothers LLC is registered with the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection as a Home Improvement Contractor and carries liability insurance. Our registration number appears on every written estimate and contract we provide, and you are welcome to ask for our credentials before any work begins.

You can verify the registration of any Connecticut contractor, including us, through the Department of Consumer Protection at portal.ct.gov/dcp or by calling 1-800-842-2649.

3. What this website is — and is not

The information on team-forte.com is provided for general informational purposes. Descriptions of roofing problems, repair options, timelines and cost ranges are general guidance, not an assessment of your property.

Nothing on this website is an offer, a quote or a binding price. Pricing for your project can only be established after we physically inspect the property and provide a written estimate.

4. Free inspections and estimates

We offer free, no-obligation roof inspections and written estimates. Requesting an inspection does not obligate you to hire us, and it does not obligate us to take on the work. Either of us may decline to proceed at any point before a contract is signed.

An inspection is a visual assessment of accessible areas. It is not a structural engineering report, a home inspection for a real estate transaction, or a guarantee that every condition affecting the property has been identified. Conditions that are concealed — under decking, inside walls, or otherwise not visible without removing material — may only become apparent once work begins.

5. Written contracts govern the work

All home improvement work we perform is governed by a separate written contract signed by you and by us, as required by the Connecticut Home Improvement Act. That contract — not this website and not these terms — controls the scope of work, the price, the payment schedule, the start and completion dates, and the warranty terms for your specific project.

Connecticut law gives you the right to cancel a home improvement contract within three (3) business days of signing. That right, and the procedure for exercising it, is stated in your contract.

If anything in these Terms of Service conflicts with your signed contract, your signed contract controls.

6. Warranties

We offer a 2 to 3 year workmanship warranty on repairs and lifetime warranty solutions on full replacements. Manufacturer warranty coverage is offered through our certifications as an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor and a GAF Master Elite Installer, and is subject to the manufacturer's own terms.

The exact warranty that applies to your project — what is covered, for how long, and what voids it — is stated in writing on your estimate and contract before any work starts. Warranty descriptions on this website are summaries and do not extend or modify the terms of your written warranty.

7. Insurance claims

We can document storm or wind damage with photographs and communicate with your insurance adjuster to support your claim. We are not an insurance company, a public adjuster, or your representative in dealings with your insurer. We do not decide whether a claim is covered, and we make no promise about the outcome of any claim. Decisions about your policy and your claim rest with you and your insurer.

8. Text messages (SMS)

If you check the SMS consent box on one of our forms, you agree to receive text messages from Team Forte at the phone number you provide. There are two separate consents, and you choose each one independently:

  • Service messages — about your roof inspection request, scheduling, and job updates.
  • Marketing messages — seasonal roof maintenance reminders and special offers.

Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can request an inspection and hire us without agreeing to receive text messages.

Message frequency varies based on your project and, for marketing messages, on the season. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan.

To stop messages, reply STOP to any message from us. You will receive a single confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and we will send no further texts to that number unless you opt in again. For help, reply HELP or call us at (860) 854-9335.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your mobile carrier's network and is not guaranteed.

We do not sell or share your phone number or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.

9. Your responsibilities

When you request an inspection or services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you either own the property or are authorized to approve work on it. You agree to give us accurate contact and property information, and to provide safe access to the areas we need to reach.

10. Scheduling and weather

Roofing work depends on weather. We may reschedule inspections or work for rain, wind, snow, ice or unsafe conditions. We will tell you as soon as we can when a date has to move. Delays caused by weather, material availability, permitting, or conditions discovered once work begins are not a breach of contract.

11. Photography

We photograph our work for documentation, warranty and quality purposes. We may also use photographs of completed work on our website and marketing materials. These images show the work itself — not house numbers, street addresses or anything else identifying your home — and we will not identify you by name without your permission. If you would prefer we not use images of your project at all, tell us and we will honor that.

12. Website content and intellectual property

The text, photographs, logos and design of team-forte.com belong to GR Brothers LLC or are used with permission. You may view and print pages for your own personal use in evaluating our services. You may not copy, republish or use our content commercially without our written permission.

Owens Corning, GAF, Thumbtack and Google are trademarks of their respective owners. We reference them to describe our certifications and reviews; this does not imply those companies endorse this website.

13. Reviews and third-party links

Review excerpts shown on this website are quoted from real customer reviews on third-party platforms. Individual results vary, and a past project is not a promise of the same outcome on yours. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience; we do not control and are not responsible for their content or practices.

14. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

This website is provided "as is." While we work to keep it accurate and current, we do not warrant that every detail is complete, error-free or continuously available.

To the fullest extent permitted by Connecticut law, GR Brothers LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising out of your use of this website. Nothing in this section limits our liability for the work we actually perform — that liability is governed by your signed contract, our warranties, and Connecticut law, including the Home Improvement Act and the Connecticut Unfair Trade Practices Act. Nothing here waives any right you have under those statutes.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut. Any dispute arising from this website or our services will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Connecticut.

If you have a concern about our work, please contact us first at (860) 854-9335 or [email protected]. Most issues are resolved with a phone call and a return visit. You also retain the right to file a complaint with the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our services or legal requirements change. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Changes apply going forward and do not alter the terms of a contract you have already signed with us.
